Privacy Notice for Events 

In the following, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data in the context of the implementation of company events/events as well as the collection and use of image, video and sound recordings in accordance with Article 13 GDPR.

    In addition, the contact details for registering for the event (name, e-mail address, etc.) are processed in the context of planning and organising the event. If necessary, information about intolerances and/or allergies as well as the choice of food or information about the journey (transport) will also be required.

  2. Purpose of the processing and legal basis

    The processing of personal data is carried out, among other things, for event planning and implementation. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the smooth running and organisation of the event (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

    The processing of images and video recordings with sound is exclusively for advertising and marketing purposes of Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH, in order to grow customer loyalty by giving interested parties and customers a better picture of the products, services and history offered by Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH. The processing of your data is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a). By participating in the event, you consent to the processing and use (to the extent described here) of the image and video recordings with sound.

    Publication may take place on the company's website, in company documents (e.g. annual reports, presentations, etc..), intranet and on Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH's own social channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).

    Please note that Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH has no influence on the terms of use of the respective social media providers. In the terms of use, the providers may grant themselves their own rights of use to the images posted. This may also mean that the photos and data can no longer be deleted from the respective providers at all, but only that they are no longer shown publicly. There is currently insufficient information about the internal use of the photos and data by the respective services - for example, to create personality profiles.

  4. Third country transfer

    Processing also takes place outside the EU. Guarantees exist in the form of concluded standard contractual clauses. The guarantee of an approximately equal level of data protection as within the EU is best achieved through the technical restriction of data transfer.   5. Storage period

    The data will only be stored until the purpose no longer applies and provided that there are no legal retention periods. Sound, image and video data will be processed until you revoke your consent. You can find out how to exercise your right of revocation in the section "Right of revocation". 

  6. Information about your right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR

    You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests); this also applies to profiling based on this provision within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR.

    If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

  7. Provision prescribed or required

    The taking of pictures, video and sound as well as the provision of your personal data for planning and organisation is voluntary. Please note, however, that your participation may not be possible if you provide only incomplete or no information at all.

    In order to be able to organise the event to your satisfaction, we may also ask you for health data (data on allergies and intolerances). The provision of this sensitive personal data is optional. We will only process this data with your consent for the implementation of the event.
