EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON AIRCRAFT WERE USED BY THE ITALIAN AIR FORCE IN THE FOLLOWING EXERCISES:
APEX INDIA - February 19 (2 Eurofighter aircraft)
Apex India is a periodic aerial combat training exercise. It aims to train on Air Policing procedures for the tactical management of a hijacked aircraft, in bilateral cooperation with Allied countries.
RED FLAG - March 9-20 (6 Eurofighter aircraft)
Red Flag is a two-week advanced aerial combat training exercise held several times a year by the United States Air Force. It aims to offer realistic air-combat training for military pilots and other flight crew members from the United States and Allied countries.
COMAO - June 25 (12 Eurofighter aircraft)
COMAO involved 12 Eurofighter F2000 from the 36th Wing of Gioia del Colle, a KC130 of the 46th Air Brigade of Pisa and one G550 CAEW of the 14th Wing of Pratica di Mare. A team of the 16th Wing PF supported the assets by providing JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller) capabilities.
During the mission, the Eurofighter is used in air-air, air-to-ground and swing-role configuration. This type of combined advanced training allows the youngest pilots to face scenarios that are difficult to simulate using assets from one single Wing.
INTEGRATION TRAINING / NOTTE SCURA - September 14 – October 8 (2 Eurofighter aircraft)
Force Integration Training and Notte Scura are exercises held by the Special Forces Command to integrate ground troops and aerial forces through the use of digital communications to coordinate Close Air Support (DCAS) and Surveillance and Reconnaissance (SR).
RAMSTEIN GUARD - November 16-20 (6 Eurofighter aircraft)
Exercise Ramstein Guard is held by the NATO Electronic Warfare Force Integration Programme to provide high level training to the NATO air and missile integrated defence system.

EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON AIRCRAFT WERE USED BY THE SPANISH AIR FORCE IN THE FOLLOWING EXERCISES:
RED FLAG 20-2 - 26 February - 25 March (8 Eurofighter aircraft)
Exercises in USAF Base Nellis (Las Vegas, Nevada) conducted together with ITAF & GAF. 8 Eurofighters: 6 a/c from fighter wing 14-Albacete and 2 a/c from fighter wing 11-Moron. Including A2G missions launching GBU-16.
TLP (Tactical Leadership Programme) RMC FC 20-1 - July
Albacete Air Base / Primer Rescue Mission Commander flying course of TLP / 2 pilots (first graduated pilots achieving SALTY's category, NATO equivalent to USAF SANDY). It included Eurofighters from wings 11 & 14.
OCEAN SKY 2020 (International Dissimilar Air Combat Training) - 16–30 October
In Canary Islands – Gando Air Base. Included a number of international participants. The Spanish Air Force included Eurofighters from wings 11 & 14 and F-18’s from wings 12, 15, 46.
EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON AIRCRAFT WERE USED BY THE ROYAL AIR FORCE IN THE FOLLOWING EXERCISES:
NATO BALTIC AIR POLICING - April - August
Typhoon aircraft from the RAF's 6 Squadron, based at RAF Lossiemouth, operating under under 135 Expeditionary Air Wing carried out NATO Baltic Air Policing (BAP) operations from Siauliai in Lithuania.
They operated alongside F-18 Hornet pilots from the Spanish Air Force and Rafale jets the French Air Force conducting the BAP missions from Amari Air Base in Estonia.
The BAP exercise concluded with a Typhoon detachment from the German Air Force embedded within an operational RAF EAW to allow a sustained period of interoperability training to be carried out.
In June 2020, the aircraft from 6 Squadron were also involved in Exercise BALTOPs 2020, the largest annual NATO maritime exercise in the Baltic region and carried out mock air attacks to test the defences of NATO warships in the Baltic Sea.
UK-US JOINT TRAINING EXERCISE - May (20 Eurofighter aircraft)
20 Typhoon aircraft based at RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Coningsby have carried out a joint training exercise with the U.S. Air Force
They were joined by 16 F-15s from the USAF and supported by several other aircraft from the RAF and USAF, including two RAF F-35Bs from RAF Marham, to take part in Exercise Point Blank, a quarterly event held over the North Sea.
EXERCISE MAGDAY - June
Typhoons aircraft from XI (Fighter) Squadron based at RAF Coningsby took part in a major German Air Force exercise, Exercise MAGDay, over the southern North Sea.
As part of the exercise the RAF Typhoons and German Eurofighters and Tornado aircraft conducted air-to-air refuelling, from a RAF Voyager off German North Sea coast before conducting further training over Northern Germany.
EXERCISE FURIOUS WOLF - August
Typhoon aircraft from the RAF together with F-18 Hornet pilots from the Spanish Air Force worked with RAF Regiment Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) as part of Exercise Furious Wolf which took place in Lithuania.
During the exercise, the aircraft flew simulated ground attack sorties where they come under the control of the JTACs to accurately target their simulated strikes on targets.
EXERCISE POINT BLANK - September
Typhoon aircraft from RAF Lossiemouth acted as aggressor aircraft to F-35 Lightning II jets from the RAF, US Marine Corps and Royal Netherlands Air Force during Exercise Point Blank conducted over the North Sea.
The Typhoons simulated the tactics and threats of adversaries whilst challenging their colleagues in a series of complex air-to-air battles that tested the skills of the pilots involved.
INTEROPERABILITY EXERCISE BALTIC AIR POLICING - October
In October 2020, aircraft from 3 Squadron were hosted by their counterparts from Tactical Air Force Wing 71 ‘Richthofen’ at Ämari Air Base, Estonia, as part of a joint training exercise.
During a number of combined training missions under the so-called ‘plug and fight’ concept, the two air forces examined ways in which air and ground crews can work side by side.
EXERCISE CRIMSON WARRIOR - October
Typhoon aircraft from RAF Coningsby took part in the largest military exercise to be run by the RAF in the United Kingdom for more than a decade.
The jets from 3 Squadron flew alongside colleagues from the Royal Navy and personnel from the US Air Force and US Marine Corps, operating F-35 Lightning II aircraft.
At its peak Crimson Warrior will see over 70 aircraft conducting high intensity tactical training together over the North Sea and North East of England.
EXERCISE EPIC SKIES - December (6 Eurofighter aircraft)
Six Typhoon aircraft from 12 Squadron, the joint UK-Qatar Typhoon squadron, completed more than 60 successful missions as part of Exercise Epic Skies.
The Typhoon FGR4 was flown in both air-to-air and air-to-surface missions, integrating with Qatari Joint Terminal Attack Controllers on the ground simulating Close Air Support, as well as flying challenging dogfighting scenarios alongside and against Qatari Rafales and Mirage 2000-5s.
